Earlier this week I was contacted by another Web Conferencing Service. I decided to take a look an see what they had to offer and their pricing structure.
This web conferencing room happened to be from TC Communities. The way I understand it they used to be a re-seller for I-Vocalize and then went out on their own and developed their own software.
This web conferencing service is very much like the old I-Vocalize web conferencing rooms I had at one time. The features as advanced as what we have with Vereconference nor was the pricing in line with what VereConference offers.
The TC Communities offered set pricing for a 3 seat room then over and above that you paid by the amount of seats you needed on an hourly basis. For some people that might work to their advantage, but for me it was way more expensive than my monthly charges with VereConference.
Basically TC Communities focusing on the person who is just using their web conferencing service for one or 2 conferences a week. If you look at my event schedule you will know why that doesn't come close to working for me. Here is my event schedule http://events.barefootsuccess.net
I know there are other master distributors who have done comparasions and came to the same conclusion also. Bottom line VereConference is the best value and best technology available online today.

Hey Cindy - the On-Demand rooms are different. Talking Communities was the main company and IVocalize split off from that company. There are some major feature differences associated with the rooms. The pricing is close to what you described but for publishers of Quikonnex the cost is discounted (each publisher receives 200 units a month free). There is a calculator on the site that will assist in determining cost. When we figured the price and compared to rooms that charge for additional seating above and beyond the traditional 3-room conference rooms our costs were lower. What we are trying to do is give the business owner who needs a larger seating capacity a means to control and or decrease their cost not increase. Each additional seat costs between $.07 and $.09 per hour of usage and the room owner is charged for the seat only when it is used. Neal, Julie and I would be glad to meet with you and go over the figures. If the information on our site is misleading or incorrectly stated we want to correct that.
